CONGRATULATIONS

BruKent Society
for winning First Place in the BEST CULTURAL PERFORMANCE award category in the Worldfest International Showcase 2012.
This has been the THIRD time in a row for the BruKent Society to bag an award for this competition.
In addition, the BruKent Society finished in Second Place for the BEST OVERALL PERFORMANCE in the competition after a nerve-wrecking close call against the Irish Society.
The society performed a play from the history of Brunei Darussalam called "Lela Menchanai", thus, showcasing Traditional Dance and Silat Performances.
The performance is in conjunction with the 28th National Day of Brunei Darussalam. The performers showed their patriotism by ending the performance with the slogan of this year's national day
"Negaraku Brunei Darussalam"
The BruKent Society would also like to Congratulate all the other societies who participated in this prestigious event for their enjoyable performances and winning an award in the other categories.
