Aidiladha Celebration

Allahuakhbar, Allahuakhbar, Allahuakhbar, Walillahilham

Asalamualaikum everyone!

Alhamdulillah, with Allah's help, our first event for this new term ran successfully. We started off with congregational Maghrib prayer immediately followed by takbir recitations to commemorate Aidiladha for several rounds. The takbir ended with doa selamat (prayer to ask Allah for safety) recited by Awg Abdul Rahim Moksin. The event was followed by congregational Isya prayer and finally, everyone dug in and enjoyed a wonderful meal. A big thank you to those who brought the food, we greatly appreciate your contributions. And also a big thank you to those who came and made the event more lively and blessed.

Before I end this post, let us learn and understand the translation behind the 'takbir' we recited shown below.

Allah is Great, Allah is Great, Allah is Great
there is no God, but Allah, Allah is Great,
Allah is Great to Him belongs all Praise


Allah is the Greatest, And all Praise is due to Him

And Glory to Allah in the early morning and the late afternoon

there is no God, but Allah the Unique, He has fulfilled His Promise, and made Victorious His servant, and made Mighty His soldiers, and defeated the confederates

there is no God, But Allah

He alone we worship

with sincere and exclusive devotion even though the idolaters hate it

there is no God but Allah, Allah is Great,
Allah is Great, all praise is for Allah.
